Giving

Understand donation routes, established giving services and how charitable funding is administered.

Good giving information makes the recipient, the payment route and the purpose of a gift clear. Explore the guides below before choosing a route.

Donate native ETH through the published Robinhood Chain address, or use the CAF and UKCF pages for their conventional giving processes.

Know who receives your gift

Before completing a payment, identify the charity shown by the payment service and the purpose of the campaign. Keep the confirmation provided by the receiving service. An organisation’s logo or a link from another website is not enough to establish the recipient.

The conventional giving page links directly to CAF’s charity search and the UKCF foundation directory. These let you explore established organisations independently.

Donation administration and charitable decisions

Collecting a donation, holding money and approving a grant are different activities. Clear information explains who performs each activity, what records are produced and where to direct a question.

The governance pages provide official guidance about trustees and decision-making, including fees, restrictions and refund arrangements as set in the fund operating documents.
